In his four seasons with the Titans, Verner started 47 games and recorded 288 tackles, 50 passes defensed, 11 interceptions, 1 touchdown and 2 forced fumbles. In his 2013 season, Verner earned AFC Defensive player of week honors for week 4, Second team associated press all pro honors and then named to the Pro Bowl.

In 2011, Verner held his first football skills and cheer camp at Mayfair High School in Lakewood, California. Through the years, over 2500 kids between ages 6 to 18 attended his camp. Every year, current and retired NFL athletes, UCLA cheer and gymnastics athletes participate in his camp to work one on one with attendees.
Verner’s love for education encouraged him to donate books for students at Napier Elementary School in Nashville, Tennessee. In addition to donating books, he started an essay contest in 2012 for kids in kindergarten to high school.

as a Husband and Father
Alterraun met his wife Sina’e while attending the same middle school in Carson, California. Their friendship through the years grew to a relationship while they attended separate colleges. On July 14, 2012, Alterraun and Sina’e had a wedding ceremony with family and friends on a private vineyard in Ventura County. They celebrated their first son’s birth Avai’ Verner on February 20, 2014. The summer of August 2015, they welcomed their second son Ano’a Verner.
